Oversees the admission procedures for fresh graduate students after identifying the proposed number of students admitted, in coordination with the Departments Oversees the registration of graduate students Coordinate between the Departments when preparing graduate time tables. Oversees the registration of Theses and follow-up in collaboration with academic departments Responsible to upgrade the existing graduate Programs Supervises graduate exams Follow up the implementation of the decisions issued by the Faculty and University for graduate studies and prepare an annual report for higher studies. Chairman of the Graduate Studies Committe of the Faculty Advertise vacant teaching assistant jobs after confirmation of availability within the five-year plan Receives the applications from job aspirants and make sure that they meet the required conditions set by the University
Participate in the university council meetings of the College of Graduate Studies and Research Communicate and decide on scholarships for students with the exernal organizations Coordinate with Research and Consulting Institute with respect to research supported from within and outside the university Coordinate with the Deanship of Library Affairs at the university in everything related to the College Library and in particular to provide references and periodicals in various disciplines in consultation with the Departments of the faculty
