The Faculty of Earth Sciences established a dedicated Educational Affairs unit to help students with the educational system of the University and to enforce the regulations set by the university administration. The unit is entrusted with the following tasks:
1 - Receive new students and introduce them to the college, its labs and lectures halls
2 – Hand over the schedules of the academic year to new students
3 – Hand over the transcripts of time table to new students about the faculty and their course
4 – Coordinate with teaching staff about the handed time table to the students
5 – Distribute the attendance sheets of students to the teaching staff and to the head of departments
6 – Review the data of students with the Deanship of Administration and Registration in case of discrepancies
7 – Add or delete the student’s data at the end of each semester
8 – Advertise for the intake of students into specific specializations and inform the Deanship of Admission and Registration about it
