ESR Rules and regulations


 


 

 


 

1-      The student may require to take deficiency courses, and the time to be taken to study these courses is not counted in his program and the grades are not included in the cumulative grade point average.

2-       The required units that has to be registered to fulfill the requirement of the degree envisaged are as follow:

3-      A comprehensive examination, both written and oral, will be given only to the students working for Doctoral degree during the semester following the completion of the course work

4-      After completing of at least 50% of the courses with a grade point average of at least “Very Good”, the student is required to select a research problem and write a thesis proposal under the supervision of one or more advisors selected by the Department of structural geology and remote sensing.

5-      The thesis will be written in English and after completion of the thesis, the student have to defend in a public lecture in front of examining committee.
