Fresh cadaver grafts were found stable and incorporated after 3 – 4 weeks simulating fresh viable bone grafts . However , grafts procured at 6 and 12 hours postmortem took much time to be consolidated . Using histologic sections , it was shown also that all grafts were indistinguishable from the host bone after 3 months of grafting procedure .
