Dr. Jameel Ahmad is an Associate Professor of English at Jeddah Community College(a unique and paperless college),King Abdul Aziz University, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he teaches integrated language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing through electronic devices.
He obtained his Ph.D. titled ' Structure and Discourse of Scientific English: A study of Scientific Research Articles by Non-Native Users of English' ‘and M.Phil on ' Role of Educational Technology in English Language Teaching' from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.India, M.A and B.A in English Literature with Special paper on Aplied Linguistics from A.M.U. India. A certificate course in ELT and a Post-Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching from Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL) Hyderabad, India.
Dr. Ahmad is a freelance editor of the following internationally reputed ELT and Applied Linguistics journals: (1) Study in English Language Teaching. published from the UK (2) International Education Research. Published from USA (3) 'English Language Teaching' from Canada.(4) Journal of Education and Learning' from Canada (5) International Journals of English Linguistics' from Canada (6) Studies in Literature and Language, from Canada.(7) Editor of a Newsletter,ASDA'A from JCC. KAU. (8)Editor of MAAS news letter, published from India.
He has published seven empirical research papers on ELT and Applied Linguistics in reputed journals of ELT and ESP and in international journals which are indexed in ISI Thomson Reuter.He has also published twenty five write-ups in various newspapers and newsletters and translated twenty scientific articles from English into Urdu.He has conducted fifteen face to face interviews with academic personalities.
Dr. Ahmad has international exposure: attended and presented his research papers in international conferences held in USA, North Cyprus, Hong Kong, Taiba University, Madina. KSA and Aligarh Muslim University, India. and has also participated in ten workshops.
Dr.Ahmad has a unique identity as a successful teacher with more than twenty years experience of teaching at under-graduate, graduate and post- graduate levels. He is one of the few ESP teachers who have the passion for teaching Scientific English to the students of medical sciences, teaching of Business English to the students of Business and Management, teaching of technical English to the students of IT department. Dr. Ahmad has also worked as an assistant professor at the department of English. A.M.U Aligarh, India. Also taught at Coaching and Guidance Center, A.M.U. Aligarh,India. He was assigned to teach ELT courses and English for competitive examinations, such as teaching of essay writing to the aspirants of Indian Administrative Services, English for Business Administration, and English for Railway Recruitment Examination etc.

Dr. Ahmad was promoted from an Assistant Professor to an Associate Professor in 2012 by King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia
Dr. Ahmad was honored with Best Faculty Award in 2012 by Jeddah Community College. KAU. Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Ahmad was honored with Best Researcher Award in 2013 by Jeddah Community College, KAU. Saudi Arabia.
