KAU Delegation visits military forces stationed on the southern border in Najran

A delegation composed of KAU officials, students and staff will visit tomorrow Wednesday May 11, 2016 Najran region and the military forces stationed on the southern border under the slogan " we are proud of your sacrifice". The delegation will raise this logo in recognition of their pride of the forces' sacrifice and fulfillment of the national duty and emphasizing on national constants and cohesion between the people and the wise leadership. The visit that will start at 9 am will cover the Emirate of Najran Region and a number of military leadership headquarter in addition to the SHAM'AT AMAL (a candle of hope) Foundation for people with special needs. The visit comes within a series of initiatives and programs implemented by KAU aiming at highlighting the University's role towards the homeland safety and in support of our brave soldiers participating in the "Firmness Storm" (Resolve Storm) and "Hope Restoration" campaigns.

HE KAU president Prof. Abdulrahman Al Youbi indicated that the visit stresses that the whole society with all its components including educational institutions stands still in the face of whoever dares to temper with or compromise with the security of this blessed land. The visit also stresses on our full support to our brave military forces and valiant soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defending their country and religion.
Such moral support will consist of providing all facilities to the sons and daughters of the martyrs and the injured applying to join KAU.

From his part, HE Prof. Abdullah Mahraji, KAU vice-president indicated that this visit which carries the slogan "We are proud with your sacrifice) comes to stress the full support of all the citizens for their wise leadership and their solidarity with the brave soldiers who defend this country as well as to strengthen the role of the university - students and staff – towards their country and religion.
