Department of Paediatrics begins phase 6 of health awareness campaign

| The Department of Paediatrics at the Faculty of Medicine hosted Phase 6 of a health awareness campaign aimed raising public awareness of common health problems among the children.
The three-day campaign is a continuation of a series of initiatives made by KAU to heighten health awareness among the public, according to Dr Abdulmoein Eid Al-Agha, Associate Professor & consultant pediatric Endocrinologist and Supervisor of the Campaign.
The campaign focused on common problems among the children, including diabetes, Vitamin D deficiency, premature puberty and short stature.
The event featured distributing leaflets and posters and free screenings to test for glucose levels, body mass index, body fat percentage and blood pressure.
