IEI hosts 2nd education programme on Islamic economics and finance for Spanish executive directors

| The Islamic Economics Institute (IEI) hosted from 3-4 May 2015 the second education programme on Islamic economics and finance for Spanish executive directors in cooperation with the Saudi-Spanish Center for Islamic Economics and Finance (SCIEF) at the IE, Spain.
10 Spanish executive directors attended the programme, which was aimed to introduce and promote Islamic economics, finance and the Saudi banking system among European executive directors, according to Dr Abdullah Turkistani, IEI's dean.
The programme included visits to major industrial and financial institutions, such as the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Al Khabeer Capital, SEDCO and the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI).
