Scholarship training programme inaugurated

A three-day scholarship induction programme for KAU staff organised by the Centre for Teaching and Learning Development (CTLD) was inaugurated Tuesday by Dr Ibrahim Al-Bidewi, CTLD director.

A total of 73 staff members (34 males-39 females) will attend the programme. 

The programme consists of a number of lectures to be delivered by KAU academics.

Mr Hassan Al-Badri, of the English Language Institute (ELI), will highlight the entrance examinations in international universities. 

Dr Saud M. Al-Salami, Head of the Scholarships' Department, will explain to the participants the rules and procedures of scholarship.

Dr Ali O. Badahdah, of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, will familiarise the participants with the intercultural communication skills for scholarship students.

Dr Ahmed N. Abu Khatwah, of the Faculty of Sciences, will give a lecture on how to protect yourself from academic plagiarism.
