Winners of 6th of King Abdulaziz University Qur'an Memorization Contest honoured by Jeddah Governor
 
 Winners of the 6th edition of King Abdulaziz University Qur'an Memorization Contest organized by the Department of Islamic Studies were awarded Thursday by Jeddah Gov. Prince Mishaal bin Majed at a special prize-giving ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, acting KAU President Prof Abdurrahman Alyoubi pointed out that the contest was aimed to inspire and motivate the students to take interest to learn, memorize and recite the Qur'an.

As many as 800 contesters (male and female reciters and memorizers) took part in the event, which is patronized by Prince Mishaal.
