KAU Students Win Prince Sultan bin Salman Award for Urban Heritage


A group of female students of the Faculty of Home Economics grabbed three top prizes at the fifth session of Prince Sultan bin Salman Award for Urban Heritage organised by the Heritage Foundation Charity in collaboration with the King Khaled University in Abha.

Winners received the prizes for outstanding interior design projects.  

The award was launched by Prince Sultan bin Salman on Jan. 2, 2005 with the aim to educate the society about the concept of urban heritage, its preservation and development as well as to highlight the urban heritage of the Kingdom in the framework of the Islamic Arabic architectural heritage.
