The 9th Annual Scientific Congress of the Saudi General Surgery Society (SGSS) to be held at King Faisal Convention Centre from 9-10 April was inaugurated by Dr Ahmed Nagadi, KAU Vice Dean for Business and Knowledge Creativity, on Wednesday.
In attendance of the inaugural ceremony were Prof Mahmoud Al-Ahwal, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr Sami Ba-Dawood, Director-General of Jeddah Health Affairs, and Prof Ahmed M. Kensarah, President of the Saudi General Surgery Society (SGSS).
This year's event, which will be held under the slogan “The Latest Developments in General Surgery”, will cover latest trends on hebatobiliary, colorectal, endocrine and laparoscopic and robotic issues.
The conference is expected to attract a host of elite local and international professors, consultants, specialists and medical personnel of general surgery.
