ESR Outreach

        One of the main aims of our department is to introduce and offer guidance, assistance, in addition to teaching and consultancy to the community.

- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Qari involved as a consultant for both Al Daleel Information Systems and Saudi Geologic Survey, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He played a significant role in simplifying sophisticated scientific and environmental issues throughout publishing Arabic Articles in local magazines and newspapers.

- Dr. Mohammed El-Shafai was a technical geological consultant for Alxender Nubia Inc.; a Canadian Company exploring and exploiting gold deposits and other related mineralizations in the Nubian Shield. He also participated in risk assessment of desertification in Tunisia, as well as echo-system assessment in North Sinai, Egypt.

- Prof. Zakaria Hamimi published some sixteen textbooks (in Arabic) covering many topics in the field of Earth Sciences, aiming at simplifying geosciences for both students and interested people. He has taken a part in constructing the "Metallogenic Map of Egypt" for investment and exploitation issues.
